Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients
- 125 grams fine oats
- 50 grams flour
- 1 1/2 tsp baking bowder
- 1tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- 50 grams granulated sugar
- 100 grams soft vegan butter, or coconut oil
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp plant based milk (optional)
Let's get started!
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a baking sheet with baking paper.
- Put the dry ingredients in a bowl and stir together. Then add the soft vegan butter and maple syrup and knead everything into a dough. If the mixture looks too dry add 1 tbsp of plant based milk).
- Form the dough into walnut-sized balls of approximately 30 grams each and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Leave enough space between each ball. Then flatten them slightly with the palm of your hands.
- Bake in the oven for about 12 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool completely. The cookies will still be very soft after baking, but they will crisp up as they cool.
